MELTDOWN!

An Action-Packed Weekend for Junior High Teens in Grades 6 through 9!

What's Meltdown?

It's action-packed. It's snow-filled. It's fuel for your faith. It's just what you've been looking for.

The wintry environment is perfect for navigating down snow-covered hills on skis or a snowboard. Maybe a tube run down Bullet or Big Bend is more your speed. Off the hill, you can explore the acre after acre of forest via cross-country skis or snowshoes. After a day in the outdoors, you can grab a gourmet hot chocolate and hang out with friends in front of one of our fireplaces.

Meltdown campers will be equipped and challenged through Bible teaching during weekend sessions. Trained, mission-driven counselors will lead cabin groups through devotions and cabin activities throughout the weekend. During free time, campers can take advantage of many fun-filled winter programs areas.

Our staff works to ensure each camper's physical, emotional and spiritual needs are met. As a parent, you can rest assured that your child will be safe thrive in our Christian community!

Cancellations - They do occur sometimes . If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us as soon as possible. Your courtesy may help another camper on a waiting list to be able to attend. However, your registration deposit is not refundable or transferable.

THE SPEAKER: Dan Hartke

Dan joined Forest Springs' missionary staff in May 2015. Dan and his wife, Jamie, have four boys - Will, Aiden, Josh and Noah. Dan serves on our program team as Youth Ministries Specialist.

He has more than 15 years of youth ministry experience. Having seen the way God uses camp to impact the lives of teens and their families, they began pursuing a career in camp ministry with the blessing of their home church in St. Louis, MO, went through the LTD program at Forest Springs (class of 2014-2015), and were asked to join staff upon completion of that year.

They’re excited to see the Lord continue to grow the legacy of youth camps here at Forest Springs for generations to come!
